Message From The Asst. Vicar
"Praise the Lord!
Greetings to you in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I count it a privilege to serve alongside the faithful members of this wonderful
parish, and I look forward to working together in fulfilling our mission of
spreading the gospel, nurturing spiritual growth, and advancing the kingdom of
God in our community.
Rick Warren, in his book 'The Purpose Driven Church,' outlines five key aspects
of parish growth: warmer through fellowship, deeper through discipleship,
stronger through worship, broader through ministry, and longer through
evangelism. A parish must be rooted in these five areas to truly thrive;
otherwise, it risks becoming a mere club.
In my new role, I am committed to supporting the vision of our church and to
strengthening the bonds of fellowship among us all. It is my prayer that
Immanuel Mar Thoma Church will continue to be a beacon of light, where God’s
love is not only preached but also lived through our actions. I encourage each
one of you to actively engage in the life of the church, contributing your unique
gifts and talents to build up the body of Christ. Our shared faith and commitment
to Christ are the foundation upon which we must build everything we do. The
Bible calls us to be “the salt of the earth” and “the light of the world” (Matthew
5:13-16). This means that we are called not only to gather in worship but to go
out into the world, carrying the love of Christ with us wherever we go. As we
meet the needs of our community, both spiritually and practically, we will reflect
Christ’s love and draw others closer to Him.
Our children and youth are the future of our church. By embracing and
empowering them, we can help them feel a sense of ownership and belonging.
I'm excited to see our Sunday School children eagerly anticipating this year's
Vacation Bible School. I pray that it will be a time of joy, learning, and spiritual
growth, where they can deepen their understanding of God's Word.
As we begin this new chapter in our church’s journey, I ask for your prayers and
support. Together, let us walk in faith, trusting that God’s plans for us are good,
and that He will continue to lead and guide us every step of the way. May the
grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with each of you, and may His peace rule in
your hearts as we seek to serve Him and one another. May God bless our
efforts and enrich our community."

IMTC COMMUNICATION CHANNELS
Web Portal: We invite members to check out the updated church website with new
features and functionalities at www.immanuelmtc.org. There are several new resources
like updated lectionary, Bible Verses in three different languages, various channels for our
organizations, exclusive channels for media that include podcasts, video and photo
galleries, exclusive section for our church history, and that of the North American
Diocese.
OneCallNow: Apart from announcement during Sunday service and
newsletter, we use “ONECALLNOW” communication platform to circulate
key information regarding church service and other activities. A 3rd layer
of communication "Text Alert" has been activated now along with the
existing telephonic and Email Parish communication tools. In order to avail
"Text Alert" function you must opt-in. Go to Text messaging in your Cell
phone, Type 22300 in the Number Field and Type ALERT in the message
field, click Send.

Password: Your choice and something you can remember
Email: Your personal email (used for password reset)
Member ID: As listed in the church directory
Phone: Your contact number
Agree to the Master Service Agreement.
You will receive an email from our support team for the approval.
Step 3: Login
Once approved, use your username and password to log in to the app.
Step 4: Please verify your name and details in the Parish Directory
Step 5: Please test for other features in the app ( Events, Lectionary,
Vicar Message, Organization, Executive Committee, Home )

Houston. The Vicars and members of the Immanuel Parish express our
heartfelt condolences. May our thoughts and prayers comfort and
consoles the grieving families.

The ICECH 2025 Bible Quiz will take place on Sunday, July 13, at 2:30
PM at St. Mary’s Malankara Syriac Orthodox Church. Each church can
send one team of up to Ten members to participate. Team members
may be of any age or gender but must be bonafide members of the
church. The registration deadline is Tuesday, July 01, 2025. Those Who
are interested in participating from our church must give their names
before May 31 Saturday to the Secretary. If there are more than 10
participants, an internal quiz will be conducted to determine the team
members for IMTC.
