Dearly Beloved in Christ,
Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
As we enter a new month, I am reminded of the verse from Psalm 34:8,
“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge
in Him”. The new month arrives with its own unique blessings and
opportunities for us to taste and experience the goodness of our Creator.
Construction work related to our Jubilee project is about to start. Looking
forward to your continued prayerful co-operation and support in this regard.
Congratulations to all the participants and winners of the sports meet held in
Dallas last month. Everyone’s co-operation in all efforts to keep our youth
connected to the church is highly appreciated. Remember that they are the
backbone of the church.
September is a time of transition—a gradual shift from the height of summer
to the approaching autumn. As we witness the changing seasons, let us
remember the faithfulness of God that remains constant through all seasons
of our lives. Let us enter worship with hearts ready to remember, celebrate,
and give thanks for the ways God has carried us through. Worship is a
spiritual wellspring, a source of refreshment for our souls. Just as the
earth is nourished by the sun’s rays, our spirits are renewed in God’s
presence. As we engage in worship, may we be open to the transformative
power of the Holy Spirit, allowing God to mold us into vessels that reflect His
love and grace. We must be able to make worship the center of our spiritual
journey. Let us come together, lifting our voices in song, offering our prayers
and seeking the Lord’s guidance. As we worship, let our hearts be knit
together in unity, drawing strength and inspiration from the community of
believers that surrounds us. In this season of warmth and growth, let us
come together in worship, our hearts open to the presence of God. As we
gather, whether in person or through virtual means, let our worship be a
reflection of our deep gratitude for the life, love, and grace that God bestows
upon us each day. Let us continue our worship in spirit and truth that
deepens our faith, refreshes our spirits, and strengthens our bonds as a
church family. As we taste and see the goodness of the Lord, may our lives
be a testament to His grace and a reflection of His love.
Kindly remember.
• Worship is an opportunity to know God
• Worship is an entry point to abundant life
• Worship is a revelation through Christ.
With prayers and blessings,
Rev. Santosh Thomas, Asst. Vicar
